An AP course refers to a course that is part of the AP or Advanced Placement program. This program is offered by the College Board. It gives high school students the benefit of pursuing college studies while doing high school by doing courses and completing exams. This will benefit the students since they can get credit for college that will help them later. It is also extremely useful to get placement in the best colleges or universities. It is even possible to take up online AP courses although they are not credit-based, but if you are confident in the material you can thereafter take the exam.
